4 Tips: How to Keep Your Lips Moisturized in the Winter

During the winter time your lips may get chapped, cracked and dry. Your lips can make it hard to look your best, so don’t forget some of these care tips for your lips. Keeping your lips moisturized during the winter can be challenging than in the spring and summer. With temperatures dropping and low moisture in the air, winter can be pretty rough on your usually soft and silky lips. There are some easy ways to maintain the care of your lips this winter

1.    Beeswax: is anti-allergenic except for those who are allergic to bees, it keeps the moisture locked in your lips and it is a germicidal agent for colds and flu. Long lasting skin softener and an anti-oxidant.

2.    Olive Oil:  it boost your immune system, fights against disease, gives elasticity to your lips and prevents cracking.

3.    Shea Butter: keeps your lips moisturized, has vitamin A which conditions your lips, especially those who suffer with dermatitis, eczema and psoriasis.

4.    Mango Butter: moisturizes and softens your lips and specifically treats eczema and dermatitis. Heals lips from peeling due to the harsh winter climate.

My handmade lip balm contains all of these ingredients so that you can look your best during the winter season.
